The World According to Beasley the Wonder Horse

Advice Column for Equines, Humans and Other Species
During Thanksgiving week, Beasley ran a fundraising advice column on the Special Horses website to support several non-profit equine groups. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO BEASLEY AND HIS HUMAN!!! It takes a special equine to be the bigger horse and help other equines in need. We love you, Beas!

Special Horses Wins Recognition From BEHS!
This year Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society (www.bluebonnetequine.org) implemented a new program - members' choice awards! They asked their members to nominate people in various categories that they thought deserved recognition. All nominators had to be current, paid members or donors of BEHS. After the nomination period closed, each paid member of BEHS was able to vote for the member they believed deserved recognition in each category. And Special Horses won for Fundraising!! Thank you so much for this recognition! We are honored.
Opie Memorial Wall
If you would like to have a horse's name inscribed on a brick in the Opie Memorial Wall, please send a jpeg of the horse, and a brief biography (250 words) to wendin@specialhorses.org. We ask that you make a donation in memory of the horse; these funds will be used to help our participating groups. Others can donate in your horse's memory as well (simply note the name of the horse on the donation). An acknowledgment of your gift will be sent via e mail with the link to your horse's page on the Memorial Wall.
